Private Giverny and Montmartre Tour with Hotel Pickup
Two iconic French destinations, one seamless private journey through art, gardens, and cobblestone charm.
This private Giverny and Montmartre tour combines two of northern France's most celebrated cultural landmarks into a single, expertly guided full-day experience. Your driver collects you directly from your hotel, removing the need for public transport or complex logistics.
Giverny, a quiet village in Normandy, is where Impressionist painter Claude Monet chose to live and work from 1883 until his death in 1926. The Fondation Claude Monet preserves his former home and the elaborate water garden that inspired his famous water lily series, and visiting them connects you directly to the creative source of one of art history's most influential movements.
Montmartre, Paris's storied hilltop district, offers a completely different but equally compelling atmosphere. Its cobbled lanes, the white-domed Sacre-Coeur Basilica, the historic Place du Tertre, and the remnants of its bohemian artistic past make it a neighbourhood that rewards slow, attentive exploration on foot.
The two destinations complement each other well. One is rural, painterly, and quietly contemplative; the other is urban, lively, and steeped in Parisian street culture. Together they give a visitor a layered understanding of how France has inspired artists across generations.

Itinerary
Your driver meets you at your Paris hotel and begins the journey northwest toward Normandy. The drive to Giverny takes approximately 1.5 hours each way, with city traffic accounted for in the schedule.
You spend approximately two hours exploring Monet's house and gardens with an audio guide. The water garden, the Japanese bridge, and the flower beds surrounding the house are all accessible during the visit.
After the visit, your driver returns you to Paris and brings you to the starting point of the Montmartre walking tour at Metro station Blanche, near the Moulin Rouge.
The walk takes you up through market streets and past notable boulangeries to the Wall of Love, then through the neighbourhood via Dalida's former home, La Maison Rose, and the Lapin Agile cabaret.
The route continues to Place du Tertre, the historic painters' square, before ending at the Sacre-Coeur Basilica. From the steps, you have a sweeping view across the rooftops of Paris.
At the conclusion of the Montmartre walk, you may return to your hotel with your driver or descend independently via foot or the funicular, which accepts a standard metro ticket.
