Cairo 2-Day Tour: Pyramids, GEM, Coptic Cairo, Citadel & Bazaar
Two days. Five thousand years of history. One unforgettable private journey through the heart of ancient and medieval Cairo.
This Cairo 2-day private tour takes you through the most significant historical and cultural landmarks Egypt has to offer, from the iconic plateau of Giza to the medieval lanes of Khan El Khalili. Each stop is curated to deliver genuine depth, not just a photo opportunity. A dedicated Egyptologist guide and a private air-conditioned vehicle accompany you throughout both days.
Day one begins at Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, one of the oldest stone structures ever built. From there, the route continues to Giza, where the three great pyramids dominate the horizon and the Great Sphinx stands guard before the Valley Temple. A short camel ride and a panoramic viewpoint round out the experience before lunch.
Day two shifts the focus to Cairo itself. The Grand Egyptian Museum houses the complete Tutankhamun Collection and the Khufu Solar Boat, representing the most significant assembly of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world. The afternoon moves through Coptic Cairo, the Citadel of Saladin, and the vibrant stalls of Khan El Khalili, closing the two days with a full cross-section of the city's layered identity.
