Day-by-Day Itinerary

A morning hike leads to Lake Sørvágsvatn, the iconic lake that appears to float above the sea. The afternoon features a visit to Múlafossur waterfall, which cascades directly into the Atlantic, before returning to Tórshavn for dinner at Árstofan.
A boat excursion along the Vestmanna cliffs passes through narrow fjords and sea caves, with seabirds nesting overhead. The afternoon visit to Saksun reveals a remote village set beside a tidal lagoon, with mountains rising on all sides.
The route passes through Funningur and Eiði before reaching Gjógv and its dramatic natural harbor. Adventurous participants can hike to the summit of Slættaratindur, and the return journey includes stops to see the Risin and Kellingin sea stacks.
A ferry crossing from Klaksvík reaches Kalsoy Island, where a hike leads to Kallur Lighthouse and views of the surrounding archipelago. The return to Klaksvík includes a visit to Mikladalur to see the Seal Woman statue and a tour of the Föroya Bjór brewery.
Transfer to the airport concludes the journey. Depending on departure time, there may be a final opportunity to walk the harbor or pick up provisions in Tórshavn before heading home.
