Sailboat Tour from Alghero: Porto Conte Natural Park and Capo Caccia
A full day on the water exploring hidden coves, crystal-clear bays, and the dramatic coastline of north-western Sardinia.
This Alghero sailing boat tour takes you along one of the most scenic stretches of Sardinian coastline, from the sheltered port of Alghero out to the towering limestone cliffs of Capo Caccia, with multiple stops for swimming, snorkelling, and a relaxed onboard lunch.
The route winds through the protected waters of Porto Conte Natural Park, a marine area known for its transparency and biodiversity. Along the way, the sailboat anchors at secluded spots that are largely inaccessible by road, giving passengers a sense of discovery that larger vessels simply cannot offer.
The day is designed to be unhurried and sociable, with time built in for snorkelling above rocky reefs, sunbathing on deck, and sharing a lunch prepared from local, seasonal ingredients. The small group format — a maximum of seven passengers alongside the skipper — ensures personal attention and a relaxed pace throughout.

Itinerary
The tour begins at the port of Alghero, where guests board the Molara Etap 30 sailboat. The skipper briefs the group before casting off and heading north-west along the coast.
The first anchor drop is at Cala dell'Olandese, a quiet bay with clear, calm water. A swimming stop of approximately 45 minutes gives passengers time to cool off and explore the shoreline.
The boat anchors at Cala Dragunara for a generous two-hour break. A freshly made lunch is served on board, with time to swim, relax in the shade of the awning, or simply enjoy the surroundings.
The sailboat navigates close to the imposing cliffs of Capo Caccia, offering clear views of the promontory and its sea caves. This is one of the most photographed stretches of the entire journey.
Two final stops round out the afternoon: a 30-minute snorkelling session at Punta Giglio, followed by a 30-minute swimming break at Cala del Rosso before the return to Alghero.
