          Afitos (also spelled Afytos) is a traditional stone village on the eastern coast of the Kassandra peninsula, the westernmost prong of Halkidiki in northern Greece. It sits approximately 90 kilometres south of Thessaloniki and overlooks the Toroneos Gulf. The village is classified as a traditional settlement by the Greek state due to its well-preserved Macedonian architectural heritage, and it has been a protected area since the 1980s.
