Khomas Region is located in central Namibia in southwestern Africa. The region encompasses Windhoek, Namibia's capital and largest city, characterized by colonial German architecture and modern development. The region features the scenic Erongo Mountains and serves as a gateway to Namibian wildlife reserves and desert landscapes. It is bordered by the Otjozondjupa Region to the north, Omaheke to the east, Hardap to the south, and the Khomas Hochland escarpment to the west.
