This tour operates on the Sorrento Peninsula in the Campania region of southern Italy, in the Metropolitan City of Naples. Day 1 covers the coastal promontory of Punta Sant'Elia near the locality of Colli di Fontanelle, a rugged headland above the Tyrrhenian Sea. Day 2 moves inland and upward through central Sorrento, the Olivella olive grove, the hilltop village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi — a ridge settlement sitting precisely between the Gulf of Naples to the north and the Gulf of Salerno to the south — before passing through the rural hamlet of Acquara and returning to the town of Sorrento. The peninsula is bordered by the Amalfi Coast to the east and the island of Capri lies directly offshore to the south. The area falls within the broader circuit of UNESCO-adjacent heritage landscapes and is one of Italy's most visited coastal trekking destinations.
