          Godafoss é uma cascata localizada no norte da Islândia, conhecida pela sua forma dramática de ferradura e pela sua queda poderosa. O nome significa "cascata dos deuses" em islandês. Localizada ao longo da Estrada Circular, desce aproximadamente 12 metros num cânion escavado pela água de derretimento glacial.           Godafoss is located in the Bardardalur valley of northeastern Iceland, situated directly on Route 1 (the Ring Road) approximately 50 kilometers east of Akureyri and 50 kilometers west of Lake Myvatn. The waterfall is part of the Diamond Circle, a popular touring route in north Iceland encompassing Lake Myvatn, Dettifoss, Husavik, and Asbyrgi Canyon. The Skjalfandafljot River, one of Iceland's longest, feeds the falls before continuing south through the interior highlands.
