O Condado de Fier, localizado no sudoeste da Albânia, abrange a região costeira ao longo do Mar Adriático. Fier County is located in the southwestern lowlands of Albania, centred on the city of Fier approximately 120 kilometres south of Tirana. The county encompasses the Seman River basin, the Mallakaster upland zone, and a narrow Adriatic coastal strip. It is most internationally recognised as the location of Apollonia, a major ancient Greek colonial city founded in the 6th century BCE, and remains one of Albania's most archaeologically significant regions outside the UNESCO-listed site of Butrint.
