From the top of Serra da Estrela – the highest mountain peak in Portugal – to the Douro Valley, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, there are many places that are worth visiting.

The municipality of Seia is located in the district of Guarda, centrally placed in mainland Portugal. The territory occupies an area of ​​965.58 km² and has a population of 13,734 inhabitants (2011).

The climate in Seia is continental with mediterranean influences, marked by the presence of the Serra da Estrela massif. The average annual temperature is 10.5 ° C and the average annual rainfall is 1,200 mm.
