Manuel Antonio National Park Guided Tour
Where dense rainforest meets the Pacific and every tree holds a secret
A walk through Manuel Antonio National Park reveals one of the most biodiverse coastal ecosystems in Central America, where sloths, monkeys, and tropical birds share the same canopy just steps from white-sand beaches.
The park's wildlife relies heavily on natural camouflage, making most animals nearly invisible to the untrained eye. A certified, regulated guide equipped with a professional spotting scope transforms what might otherwise be an empty trail into an extraordinary close-up encounter with wild animals.
Guides use your smartphone through the spotting scope lens so you leave with sharp, detailed photographs of the species you encounter. Updated natural history facts and species stories accompany every sighting, giving the experience both scientific depth and genuine storytelling value.

Tour Itinerary
Join your certified guide at the main entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park at your pre-arranged time. The guide will introduce the plan for the walk and provide an overview of what species may be active during your visit.
Move at a relaxed pace along forested trails while your guide actively scans the canopy and undergrowth for sloths, white-faced capuchin monkeys, squirrel monkeys, iguanas, and a wide range of bird species. Each confirmed sighting is viewed through the spotting scope and photographed using your own smartphone.
A short break at the park's in-house coffee shop gives guests time to rest, use the restroom facilities, and review the photos captured during the wildlife walk.
A brief, easy walk leads to the park's primary swimming area, where calm waters and a forested backdrop create one of the most scenic beach settings on Costa Rica's Pacific coast.
A short beachside trail connects to the park's second swimming beach, equally beautiful and often quieter. Guests can swim, relax, or explore secondary hiking trails independently from this point onward.
The guided portion concludes at the second beach. Guests who prefer not to stay in the park can return to the entrance with a ten-minute walk, where the guide will explain public bus options or arrange a taxi to nearby accommodations.
