El Toboso is a small town in Castile-La Mancha, central Spain, famous for its association with Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote. The whitewashed village features traditional La Mancha architecture and narrow cobbled streets. Visitors explore the House of Dulcinea museum, dedicated to the novel's heroine, and walk through the countryside that inspired the literary classic.
El Toboso is a municipality in the province of Toledo, within the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. It sits on the central Iberian plateau at approximately 700 metres above sea level and is recognized internationally as the village associated with Dulcinea del Toboso from Cervantes' Don Quixote, published in 1605. The Museo Cervantino, housed in a restored convent, holds one of the world's most complete multilingual collections of the novel.
