          Arachova is a mountain village in Central Greece, located on Mount Parnassus in the Boeotia region.           Arachova is a traditional Greek mountain village situated at approximately 950 metres altitude on the southern slopes of Mount Parnassus in the regional unit of Viotia, Central Greece. It serves as the primary gateway to the Parnassos Ski Centre and is located 11 kilometres east of the ancient sanctuary of Delphi, placing it within a broader cultural and geographic corridor of exceptional historical significance. The village is officially recognised for the production of formaela cheese under a Protected Designation of Origin status.
