          Siwa Oasis is located in northwestern Egypt, near the Libyan border in the Marsa Matrouh Governorate. This remote desert settlement is surrounded by date palm groves and freshwater springs, featuring the centuries-old Shali fortress overlooking the town. Visitors trek through sand dunes, bathe in natural mineral pools, and explore the Temple of the Oracle, an ancient Greek-influenced site dating to the fourth century BCE.
          Siwa Oasis is located in the Western Desert of Egypt, approximately 560 kilometres west of Cairo and 50 kilometres from the Libyan border, situated in a natural depression below sea level. The oasis is inhabited primarily by the Siwan Berber community and is administered as part of Matruh Governorate.
