15-Day Egypt Tour: Pyramids, Luxor, Aswan and the Western Desert Oases
From the Giza Plateau to the Nile Valley and the remote oases of the Sahara, a single journey covers the full breadth of ancient Egypt.
This 15-day Egypt tour package connects Cairo, the Mediterranean coast, four Western Desert oases, and a classic Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan into one carefully sequenced itinerary. Rated easy in difficulty, the tour suits first-time visitors who want comprehensive coverage without rushing. Airport transfers, daily guiding, most meals, and a 5-star Nile cruise are included throughout.
The journey opens in Cairo with the iconic monuments of the Giza Plateau, the Egyptian Museum, and the layered history of Coptic and Islamic Cairo. It then heads west to the World War II memorials at El Alamein and the remote Siwa Oasis before looping south through Bahariya, the White Desert, Farafra, Dakhla, and Kharga — an overland route rarely covered in shorter Egypt packages.
From Kharga the route pivots to Luxor, where embarkation onto a 5-star Nile cruise begins. The cruise calls at Karnak, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan before a final flight returns travelers to Cairo for departure. Accommodation throughout the land phase is at Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel and Spa in Cairo and oasis-style lodges, while the river segment is aboard the Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise.
