          Kaymaklı is a village in Nevşehir province, central Anatolia in Türkiye. It is home to one of the world's largest underground cities, carved from soft volcanic rock with eight levels extending deep beneath the surface. Visitors descend through narrow tunnels, chambers, and storage areas to explore this ancient subterranean settlement used for shelter and defense.
          Kaymaklı Underground City is located in the Nevsehir Province of Cappadocia, central Turkey, approximately 20 kilometers south of Nevsehir city center. The site forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage landscape and is one of the largest and best-preserved underground settlements in the region, with origins traced to at least the Phrygian period and significant use by Byzantine Christian communities.
