5-Day Guided Tour of Istanbul, Ephesus and Pamukkale
From Byzantine cathedrals to travertine terraces, a journey through Turkey's most iconic landmarks.
This guided Istanbul Ephesus Pamukkale tour takes you through five days of layered history, natural wonders, and architectural masterpieces across three of Turkey's most celebrated destinations. An English-speaking guide and all airport transfers are included throughout. You save travel time by flying between Istanbul and Izmir rather than taking a long overland route.
The tour opens in Istanbul with visits to the Bosphorus Strait, Dolmabahce Palace, and Camlica Hill on the Asian side of the city, giving you a panoramic sense of this city that straddles two continents. A cable car ride over the Golden Horn and a visit to the Spice Bazaar round out the first full day in the city.
Day three brings you to Pamukkale, where thermal spring water has deposited white carbonate terraces over millennia, and to the ruins of Hierapolis, an ancient Greek city whose archaeological museum and tomb of Philip the Apostle draw visitors from around the world. The tour concludes at Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the Mediterranean world, before a transfer to Izmir airport for your return flight.
