Khomas Region is a landlocked administrative region in central Namibia, positioned on the country's central highlands plateau at an average elevation of approximately 1,700 metres above sea level. It is bordered by the Otjozondjupa Region to the north, Omaheke to the east, Hardap to the south, and the Khomas Hochland escarpment to the west. Windhoek, the national capital and primary urban centre, sits at the geographic and administrative core of the region and serves as the main international entry point into Namibia via Hosea Kutako International Airport.
