How the Day Unfolds
A shuttle bus operated by Elding or Íshestar collects you from the bus stop nearest your hotel. The pickup window varies depending on your chosen departure option.
The whale watching tour departs from Reykjavík's Old Harbour and lasts approximately three hours. Humpback whales, minke whales, and seabirds are commonly seen on the bay.
After returning to the harbour, you have a short window of free time before the connecting shuttle picks you up for the riding portion of the day.
The riding session covers scenic paths and lasts between one and a half to two hours including stops. The tour is led by experienced guides from Íshestar.
Following the ride, Íshestar's shuttle returns you to your hotel or the nearest designated bus stop in Reykjavík.
