South Coast Private Daily Group Tour with Pick-up and Drop-off
Coastal cliffs, native wildlife, and iconic landmarks along one of Australia's most celebrated scenic drives.
This South Coast private tour from Sydney takes you along the Grand Pacific Drive, past dramatic sandstone cliffs, through the Royal National Park, and to the sea-level walkway of the Sea Cliff Bridge. A private guide and vehicle are included throughout the full journey.
The itinerary is designed for travellers who want to cover significant ground without rushing. From a wildlife encounter at Symbio Wildlife Park to panoramic views at Bald Hill Lookout, each stop offers something distinct and memorable along the New South Wales coast.
A cliff-top lunch setting at the Scarborough Hotel provides a natural midday pause, with sweeping views of the Illawarra coastline and an outdoor garden facing the sea. The day concludes with a return drive through the Royal National Park, Australia's oldest and the world's second oldest.

Tour Itinerary
Begin the tour at Symbio Wildlife Park, where free general admission is included in the tour price. Encounter kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, wombats, and more than 230 native Australian marsupial species in a well-maintained park setting. Optional close encounters and animal feeding are available at an additional cost.
Visit one of the highest Hindu temples in the Southern Hemisphere, located 400 feet above sea level. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Lord Vishnu, and features four encircling corridors known as Praharams, offering both cultural and architectural interest.
Arrive at Bald Hill Lookout for sweeping views south toward Wollongong and directly above the Sea Cliff Bridge. Descend to the bridge itself, where guests can step out and walk its 665-metre span above the ocean, part of the 140-kilometre Grand Pacific Drive coastal route.
Stop for lunch at the Scarborough Hotel, situated on the cliff edge of the Illawarra Escarpment just south of the Sea Cliff Bridge. The outdoor garden offers views of the sea and the coastline extending toward Sydney. Food and drinks are at guests' own expense; hotel entry is complimentary.
Head into the Royal National Park to visit Wattamolla Beach, one of the park's most protected and picturesque coastal spots. Guests can swim in the lagoon, view the waterfall, or take in the scenery from several lookout points along the shore.
Conclude the day with a scenic drive through the full length of the Royal National Park, established in 1879 and recognised as the world's second oldest national park. The route offers a calm and forested contrast to the coastal highlights experienced earlier in the tour.
