Sheikh Faisal Museum & Camel Race Adventure
Discover Qatar's living traditions in a single half-day journey through art, history, and the ancient sport of camel racing.
This Qatar cultural heritage tour brings together two of the country's most distinctive experiences: a guided visit to one of the region's largest private museums and a front-row encounter with the storied tradition of camel racing at Al-Shahaniya.
The Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum spans 530,000 square metres and holds more than 15,000 artifacts assembled over five decades. Its four thematic collections cover Islamic Art, Vehicles, Coins and Currency, and Traditional Qatari Artifacts, giving visitors a layered understanding of the country's past.
At the Arab Camel Track in Al-Shahaniya, the atmosphere shifts from quiet contemplation to open-air excitement. Whether camels are mid-season racing or undergoing morning and evening training sessions, the trackside experience offers a genuine window into a sport that remains central to Qatari identity.
