How the Experience Unfolds
Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure and head to the AlgarExperience check-in desk. Present your ticket to the operator to receive your boarding pass.
Follow the crew's instructions and present your boarding pass before stepping on deck. Shoes are removed before boarding, and complimentary slippers are provided.
Once settled, guests are offered a welcome drink alongside mixed fruit skewers, mini codfish cakes, and mini alheira bites as the catamaran sets sail along the coast.
The route passes the Arrifes area, São Rafael, and the Albufeira cave formations. During this stretch, a second tasting round is served — options include mini cheeseburgers, wrap canapés, a premium cold canapé selection, and vegetarian alternatives.
On the homeward leg, guests are offered a closing tasting featuring local specialities such as mini fig cheese slices, Misto Algarvio, and fig brandy, alongside premium cold canapés.
The catamaran returns to the departure marina as the evening sets in. The crew bids farewell and guests disembark at their leisure.
