Your private guide collects your group and begins the drive toward Teide National Park. As the road climbs through pine forest and open lava plains, the guide provides context on the park's geology and history. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic as you approach the caldera.

Stop at key viewpoints within the park to observe the ancient lava flows, rock formations, and the imposing cone of Mount Teide rising above the caldera floor. Board the Teide cable car at the base station, located at 2,356 meters above sea level. The eight-minute ascent carries you to La Rambleta at 3,555 meters, where views extend across Tenerife and, on clear days, to neighboring islands. The air is thin and the terrain lunar in appearance.

Spend time at the upper station taking in the high-altitude environment before descending by cable car.
