Itinerary
Your driver-guide collects you from your accommodation in Lisbon and departs for Fátima, approximately 130 kilometres north of the capital. The journey takes roughly 90 minutes via the A1 motorway.
Arrive at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, where you have free time to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Chapel of the Apparitions, and the tombs of Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia. The final stop is Óbidos, a walled medieval town that has changed little in essential character since the 13th century. Walk the circuit of the castle walls, explore the narrow lanes lined with whitewashed houses, and look for the Manueline porticoes and ornate churches that reflect the town's long association with the Portuguese royal house.
