Kruger Park Full Day Guided Safari
A full-day guided journey into one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife reserves, in search of the iconic Big Five.
This Kruger National Park full day safari offers an immersive wildlife experience spanning nearly ten hours inside one of the world's most biodiverse game reserves. Guests are collected directly from their accommodations and guided throughout the day by an experienced wildlife guide.
Kruger National Park stretches across more than 19,000 square kilometres of bushveld in Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces, supporting a remarkable concentration of mammals, reptiles, and birds. The park is home to the Big Five — Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino — as well as hundreds of bird species including the Martial Eagle, Hornbills, and Kingfishers.
The guided format of this safari means guests benefit from a knowledgeable interpreter who can read animal tracks, identify bird calls, and navigate the park's road network with purpose. Morning game drives tend to yield the highest wildlife activity, while midday hours offer quieter bush scenery and excellent birding opportunities.
Two comfort stops are built into the itinerary — a morning coffee or breakfast break and a midday lunch stop — both at established rest camps within the park. Meals are at the guest's own expense, giving visitors flexibility in their choices.

Itinerary
Your guide collects you from your accommodation and transfers you comfortably toward Kruger National Park. The drive to the park gate sets the mood for the day ahead.
The group enters the park at approximately 05h30, taking advantage of early morning activity when predators are still on the move and temperatures are at their coolest. The guide leads the drive through designated game routes in search of Big Five species, antelope, and birds.
Between approximately 08h15 and 08h50, the group stops at one of the park's rest camps for a coffee break or light breakfast. Meals and refreshments are at the guest's own expense.
After the morning break, the safari resumes with further exploration of the park's roads and habitats. This period is well suited for spotting reptiles, smaller mammals, and a broader range of bird species.
Between approximately 12h45 and 13h45, the group stops at a rest camp for lunch. Guests choose from available options at the camp restaurant or shop, at their own cost.
The group continues to enjoy wildlife viewing on the drive toward the park exit. After leaving the park, guests are transferred back to their accommodations, concluding the full-day experience.
