Your first stop is this elevated mountain garden, 281 metres above sea level, covering 1.6 million square feet of terraced greenery, flowering plants, and an artificial waterfall that flows into a small lake. Three hiking routes of varying difficulty wind through agricultural terraces and tree-lined paths, while a dedicated children's zone and a skateboard area make it suitable for all ages.

A well-known coastal spot on the Gulf of Oman, Umbrella Beach offers calm, clear water, golden sand, and a backdrop of surrounding mountains. It is a good place to pause, take in the scenery, and enjoy the quieter side of the UAE's coastline.

Inspired by Roman design, this amphitheatre covers more than 1,700 square metres and seats over 3,500 people. Beside it, a 45-metre waterfall has been carved into natural rock and includes viewing windows at the top. The venue faces Khorfakkan Bay, allowing visitors to walk along the beach and dine at the on-site restaurant before or after exploring.

Located between Khor Fakkan and Dibba, this is the oldest mosque in the UAE, constructed in 1446. Its four domes and compact mudbrick form make it a distinctive example of early Gulf Islamic architecture. The surrounding area is quiet and well-preserved.

Originally built in the 1980s and recently upgraded, Al Rafisah Dam sits beneath the Hajar Mountains and offers boating, a lakeside restaurant, and a kilometre-long palm-lined walkway. The nearby Wadi Shea Fortress has been restored, and a short hike into the wadi leads to ancient palm frond houses, date farms, and a traditional falaj irrigation system still in use.

Set within a wadi at the foot of the mountains, this area contains 13 stone houses nearly a century old, a 300-year-old hilltop fort, and rock engravings of camels and horses dating to approximately 2000 BC. It offers a rare and tangible connection to pre-modern life in the region.
