Itinerary
Your guide collects you from your accommodation or a designated meeting point in Brasov. The drive to the Tusnad area covers approximately 80 kilometers through the Transylvanian countryside.
Upon arrival near Lake Saint Anna, you meet the local ranger who will lead the group on foot into the forest. The walk to the hide is short and rated easy for all fitness levels.
You settle into the ground-level hide, positioned at the same height as the bears. The ranger provides a quiet briefing on expected behavior and safety protocols before the observation begins.
As dusk approaches, brown bears emerge from the surrounding woodland. Sightings frequently occur at close range, with some bears approaching directly against the one-way mirror window.
