Women-Only Iceland Ring Road Tour
9-Day Iceland Summer Ring Road Adventure – Women Only
Circle the land of fire and ice with an all-women crew, from Reykjavík to the East Fjords and back.
This women-only Iceland Ring Road tour covers the full circuit of the island over nine days, blending glacier hikes, waterfall walks, whale watching, and geothermal soaks into a single cohesive journey. Each day introduces a new region of Iceland, from the volcanic highlands of the north to the dramatic cliffs of the East Fjords. The group format is designed to foster genuine connection among participants while keeping the pace engaging and the itinerary varied.
Iceland's Ring Road — Route 1 — traces the perimeter of the country and serves as the backbone of this itinerary. Along the way, the group visits landmarks including Þingvellir National Park, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Lake Mývatn, and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Side routes take travelers off the main road to less-visited destinations such as Borgarfjörður Eystri and the Troll Peninsula.
The tour is rated moderate in difficulty. Most hikes are manageable for participants with a reasonable level of fitness, though some — such as the glacier hike on Sólheimajökull — require physical engagement and appropriate footwear. Accommodation is in hotels or guesthouses along the route, with overnight stops selected to minimize driving time the following morning.
The itinerary concludes with a morning visit to the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa before participants transfer to Keflavík International Airport. This final stop provides a calm transition between the active pace of the tour and the journey home.
