Sands of Eternity: An 8-Day Pharaoh's Itinerary
A curated 5-star journey through Cairo, Aswan, the Nile, and Luxor
This Egypt luxury tour guides travelers through five millennia of civilization, from the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum to the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel and the sacred corridors of Karnak. Eight days are structured to balance immersive guided exploration with genuine personal freedom. Flights between cities, handpicked 5-star accommodations, and curated meals are all arranged in advance.
The journey opens in Cairo with medieval Islamic monuments, the Coptic quarter, and the Egyptian Museum, before shifting to the Giza Plateau for a close encounter with the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. A domestic flight then carries travelers south to Aswan, where a Nile cruise vessel becomes the base for the central chapters of the itinerary.
Sailing north from Aswan, the cruise calls at Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, and the Esna Lock before arriving in Luxor. The final days are devoted to the West and East Banks of Luxor, covering the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, Karnak, and Luxor Temple. A return flight to Cairo closes the circuit.
Throughout the trip, an English-speaking guide and a dedicated tour manager handle logistics, entrance tickets, and gratuities for staff, leaving travelers free to absorb the landscapes and stories without administrative distraction.

Itinerary Overview
An English-speaking representative meets travelers at Cairo International Airport, assists with luggage, and transfers them by private air-conditioned vehicle to the hotel. A tour manager completes check-in and conducts a welcome orientation covering the full itinerary, contact information, and cultural guidance.
The day begins with the Salah El Din Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque in medieval Cairo, followed by the Coptic religious complex including the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch, the visit continues at the Egyptian Museum, home to Tutankhamun's golden mask and thousands of ancient artifacts.
The morning is spent at the Giza Plateau, taking in the three great pyramids and the Great Sphinx before heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum for an afternoon of exploration including the Khufu Solar Boat. Travelers return to the hotel by mid-afternoon with the evening free.
A domestic flight connects Cairo to Aswan, where travelers are met and transferred to their Nile cruise vessel. The afternoon includes a visit to Philae Temple, a Ptolemaic masterpiece on Agilkia Island dedicated to the goddess Isis, relocated to save it from rising Nile waters.
Travelers may join an optional early departure for the UNESCO-listed Abu Simbel temples of Ramses II before rejoining the cruise for lunch and the visit to the twin-deity Temple of Sobek and Haroeris at Kom Ombo. Those who prefer a relaxed morning remain on board and rejoin the group for all afternoon activities.
The morning brings the Temple of Horus at Edfu, Egypt's most completely preserved ancient temple, followed by a sail through the Esna Lock as the ship adjusts to the Nile's water levels. The vessel arrives in Luxor in the afternoon, and a horse carriage tour introduces travelers to the city's living neighborhoods.
