3 Days Ephesus, Pamukkale, Priene, Miletus and Didyma Tour from Istanbul
Three days through ancient ruins, sacred sites, and the white terraced pools of Western Turkey
This 3-day Western Turkey tour from Istanbul brings together six of antiquity's most significant sites in a single well-organized journey, combining archaeological depth with natural wonder along the Aegean coast.
Beginning with an early morning flight from Istanbul to Izmir, the first day focuses on Ephesus and its surrounding landmarks. Travelers walk among the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Great Theater before visiting the House of the Virgin Mary and the solitary remaining column of the Temple of Artemis, once counted among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The second day reaches into the philosophical and civic heritage of the region, taking in Priene, Miletus, and Didyma. These three cities formed the intellectual backbone of the ancient Ionian world, producing thinkers, architects, and oracles whose influence shaped Western civilization.
The final day concludes at Pamukkale, where the calcium-white travertine terraces and the ruins of Hierapolis — including a Roman amphitheater, the Temple of Apollo, and the Necropolis — create a setting unlike anywhere else in Turkey before a return flight to Istanbul.
