Itinerary Overview
After a hotel pickup in Istanbul and a short domestic flight to Izmir, your guide meets you for the drive to Selcuk. You will spend the morning exploring Ephesus, covering the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan, and the Great Theater.
A separate-ticket visit to the Terrace Houses reveals multi-story Roman villas with mosaic floors and intricate frescoes. The adjacent Ephesus Experience Museum uses 360-degree visuals and immersive storytelling to bring the ancient city to life.
A short drive leads to the hillside sanctuary believed to be the final home of Mary, mother of Jesus, drawing pilgrims from multiple faiths. The day ends with a visit to the Temple of Artemis site, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, before an overnight stay at a four-star hotel in Kusadasi.
After breakfast, the group departs for Aphrodisias, a UNESCO World Heritage Site set among olive groves and rolling hills. Highlights include the grand Stadium, the Temple of Aphrodite, the Bouleuterion, and the Sebasteion relief gallery.
