From Aswan, guests board a Nile River Cruise that glides northward through some of the most significant temple complexes of the ancient world. The cruise calls at Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna before reaching Luxor, where the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple await.
After the cruise, a scenic drive across the Eastern Desert brings you to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast. The final days offer an opportunity to unwind, snorkel among coral reefs, or try a range of water sports before the return journey to Cairo for departure.

Itinerary Overview
Arrive in Cairo and settle into the Fairmont Nile City hotel. Over the following two days, visit the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, Memphis, the Egyptian Museum, Saladin's Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, and the historic streets of Coptic and Islamic Cairo including Khan El Khalili bazaar.
Board the overnight sleeper train from Giza station on Day 3 evening. Upon arrival in Aswan, check in to the Helnan Aswan Hotel. Explore the High Dam, Philae Temple dedicated to Isis and Hathor, and the remarkable Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient quarries. An optional day trip to Abu Simbel is available.
Embark on the Movenpick Royal Lily Nile Cruise and sail northward, stopping at the double temple of Kom Ombo and the well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu. Continue sailing past Esna toward Luxor, with all meals served on board throughout.
Disembark in Luxor and visit the Valley of the Kings, the mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank. The following morning, tour Karnak and Luxor temples on the East Bank before a 3.5-hour drive to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast, where you check in to the Continental Hotel.
Enjoy two full days of leisure in Hurghada. Optional activities include snorkeling and diving among the Red Sea's coral reefs, windsurfing, sailing, and deep-sea fishing. These excursions are not included in the base package price.
Travel back to Cairo by first-class coach (approximately 6 hours) on Day 11, with an overnight stay at the Fairmont Nile City. On Day 12, enjoy a final breakfast before checking out and transferring to Cairo International Airport for departure.
