The 10-Day Ultimate Iceland Adventure
From volcanic highlands to glacier lagoons, a challenging trek through Iceland's most iconic landscapes.
This 10-day Iceland hiking adventure guides a small group of women through the country's most dramatic terrain, including the Laugavegur Trail, Thorsmork, the Golden Circle, and the Diamond Beach, all with a professional local guide leading every step.
The itinerary moves from Reykjavik through the volcanic highlands of Landmannalaugar, across black sand deserts and glacial river crossings, and finishes at the luminous Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Each evening brings shared meals, mountain huts, and genuine rest before the next day's trail.
A luggage transfer service means hikers carry only daypacks on the main Laugavegur section, keeping the focus on the landscape rather than the load. Glacier walks, waterfall detours, and an optional soak at the Blue Lagoon round out the experience.
This is a challenging itinerary designed for women who are comfortable with multi-day hiking, river crossings, and variable sub-arctic weather conditions.
Tour Highlights
Hike the full Laugavegur Trail from Landmannalaugar to Thorsmork across four consecutive days of highland trekking.
Walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall and discover the hidden cave waterfall Gljufrabui on the South Coast.
Strap on crampons and explore the surface of Solheimajokull glacier with an expert local guide.
Walk the Diamond Beach at Jokulsarlon and watch ice blocks from Breidamerkurjokull Glacier glitter against the black volcanic sand.
Soak in the Secret Lagoon at the Golden Circle and finish the journey in the mineral-rich waters of the Blue Lagoon.
Visit Thingvellir National Park, Geysir, and Gullfoss in a single Golden Circle day with a professional local guide.
Photograph the serpentine Fjadrarglju fur canyon and the vast Eldhraun Lava Field, two rarely combined South Iceland stops.
