          More to know about Seljalandsfoss

Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall in southwestern Iceland, located in the South Region near Hvolsvöllur. This 60-meter cascade is distinctive because visitors can walk behind the falling water along a natural path. The waterfall originates from the Seljalands River, fed by glacial melt from nearby ice caps. Hiking behind the waterfall and photographing its unique perspective attracts thousands of travelers annually.
Seljalandsfoss is a 60-metre glacial waterfall located in South Iceland along Route 1, fed by meltwater from the Eyjafjallajokull glacier. It sits approximately 120 kilometres southeast of Reykjavik and is notable for the narrow path that allows visitors to walk directly behind the cascade. The site is part of the broader South Iceland tourist corridor that connects the Golden Circle with the black sand beaches near Vik.
