          Asni is a village in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, located in the Marrakesh-Safi region south of Marrakech. The settlement sits at elevation among dramatic mountain peaks and Berber agricultural terraces. Known for its weekly Sunday souk, Asni serves as a gateway for trekking routes into the Atlas range and for visits to nearby Kasbah Toubkal, a restored fortified structure offering cultural immersion and hiking access.
          Asni is a Berber agricultural settlement located in the Haouz Province of Morocco's Marrakech-Safi region, positioned at approximately 1,150 metres elevation in the High Atlas foothills along the Mizane Valley. It functions as the principal road staging point between Marrakech and the Toubkal National Park, with Imlil situated 17 kilometres further south as the registered trekking base for Jebel Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak at 4,167 metres. The village is administratively part of the commune of Asni and sits on the S501 provincial road. Content reflects current knowledge of the destination as of 2025.
