We start our excursion from Split by passing through some wonderfully scenic countryside all viewed from our comfortable fully WIFI/AC vehicles.
Our expert guide will point out the many sites of cultural and historical significance along the way including the famous and historical Ston wall – the second longest in the world after the Great wall of China!
Our Ston sightseeing tour includes a visit to the salt and oyster farms in Ston and Mali Ston. Here, you will have the enviable opportunity of sampling wonderful local oysters freshly harvested from the sea.
We will also visit the local Ston salt farm to learn how some of the world’s finest table salt is harvested from the sea and prepared for commercial use.
You will have an opportunity to enjoy an optional lunch at Kapetanova kuća, a very well-known local restaurant specializing in fish and sea food with some fantastic views of the bay at Ston, before heading off to the nearby wine estate of Miloš.
The Miloš estate produces some of Croatia’s best wines – you will be given the opportunity to sample excellent premium Stagnum and Plavac Mali wines, as well as locally produced organic olive oil.
Then when all are well wined and dined, the tour heads back to Split. We arrive in Split at approximately 7pm.
