After being picked up from your accommodation and transferred to the Fogo Natural Park, be greeted by your guide in Chã das Caldeiras at an altitude of 1730 meters. Start the walk-through fig, vines, apple and pear trees, and learn about the local geology and history of the recent eruption that has left the entire city covered with lava. Let your expert guide adjust the pace of the climb to your skills, and after 3 - 4 hours, reach the summit, Cape Verde's highest peak at 2829 meters.
