Stop At: Punta Tombo, Dos Pozos, Province of Chubut, Patagonia Punta Tombo Protected Natural Area This Protected Natural Area was created as such, in 1979, has a total extension of 210 hectares, and can be visited from September to April.

The beach is considered intangible area, and in February you will find it, full of Penguins Chicks practicing swimming, especially in the small pools leave it from the tides. Leaving Puerto Madryn, towards the south, by the No. 3 national route, and after travelling through 120 miles of gravel, we will arrive at Punta Tombo, the largest continental reserve of Magellan Penguins (Spheniscus Magallanicus).

This incredible place is home to thousands of Magellan Penguins, and every year since October, they arrive to nest and have their chicks.
