Þórsmörk è una destinazione escursionistica situata nell'Islanda meridionale tra i ghiacciai Tórkajökull e Eyjafjallajökull. Þórsmörk is a protected nature reserve in the southern highlands of Iceland, situated approximately 150 kilometers east of Reykjavik at the convergence of three glacier systems: Eyjafjallajokull, Myrdalsjokull, and Tindfjallajokull. The area serves as the southern terminus of the Laugavegur trail and the northern terminus of the Fimmvorduhals trail, making it one of the most significant hiking junctions in northern Europe. Access is strictly limited to high-clearance 4x4 vehicles and scheduled highland bus services due to unbridged glacial river crossings on all approach roads.
