Reynisfjara is a black volcanic sand beach located on Iceland's South Coast, approximately 180 kilometers southeast of Reykjavik near the village of Vik i Myrdal. It is managed as a public natural site within the broader South Iceland landscape, notable for its Halsanef basalt cave, the Reynisdrangar sea stacks, and its position near the Myrdalsjokull glacier system. The beach is a product of Iceland's ongoing volcanic geology and represents one of the most visited natural landmarks along the Ring Road corridor.
