Kastelli, officially known as Kissamos, is a municipal town and port in the Chania regional unit of western Crete, Greece. It serves as the administrative and commercial center of the Kissamos municipality and is the primary departure point for ferry excursions to Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island. The town sits at approximately 35.5 degrees north latitude on Kissamos Bay, with the White Mountains rising to the south and the Gramvousa Peninsula extending northwest into the Sea of Crete.
