Glencoe is a glacially formed valley located in Argyll and Bute, western Scottish Highlands, Scotland. It is managed in part by the National Trust for Scotland and sits adjacent to Rannoch Moor, one of Europe's last true wilderness areas. The valley is internationally recognised for its geological formations, its role in the 1692 Massacre of Glencoe, and its status as a premier destination for hillwalking, mountaineering, and landscape photography.
