Roseto degli Abruzzi is a coastal town in the Teramo province of Abruzzo, central Italy, located on the Adriatic Sea approximately 20 kilometres south of Pescara. It is administratively part of the Abruzzo region and sits within the broader coastal corridor that extends from Giulianova in the north to Pescara in the south. The town is historically significant as a major point of origin for Italian emigrants to the United States in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and its municipal identity incorporates this diaspora heritage alongside its coastal and agricultural character.
