Elatia is a village in the Drama regional unit of northern Greece, located on the southern slopes of the Rhodope mountain range at approximately 900 to 1,100 metres elevation. It serves as the gateway to the Elatia-Fraktos protected old-growth forest, one of the most biodiverse woodland areas in the Balkans, and falls within the broader Rhodope National Park network shared between Greece and Bulgaria.
