Dion es un yacimiento arqueológico antiguo en la región de Pieria del norte de Grecia, ubicado al pie del monte Olimpo. Dion is located in the Pieria regional unit of Central Macedonia, northern Greece, approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Thessaloniki. The site sits on a low-lying plain between Mount Olympus and the Thermaic Gulf, within the municipality of Dion-Olympos. Archaeological excavations, led by the University of Thessaloniki since the 1920s and expanded from the 1970s onward, have uncovered sanctuaries, civic buildings, baths, and a theater spanning the Classical, Hellenistic, and Roman periods. The site and its associated museum are managed by the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports.
