          The Oeste region occupies central western Portugal, stretching along the Atlantic coast north of Lisbon.           The Oeste Region of Portugal occupies the central Atlantic coast of mainland Portugal, situated northwest of Lisbon within the Centro administrative region. Covering approximately 2,220 square kilometres, it encompasses the municipalities of Obidos, Peniche, Caldas da Rainha, Torres Vedras, Lourinha, and Bombarral, among others.
