          Romanos is a village in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. Located on the Ionian coast, it serves as a gateway to nearby Pylos and its significant Navarino Bay.           Romanos is a small coastal settlement in the Messinia regional unit of the Peloponnese, Greece, situated approximately 10 kilometers north of Pylos and 75 kilometers southwest of Kalamata. The area encompasses Voidokilia Beach, the Divari lagoon nature reserve, and is adjacent to the Costa Navarino resort complex, placing it within one of the most historically and ecologically significant coastal zones of southern Greece.
