          Paklenica is a national park in Zadar County, located on the Dalmatian coast of southeastern Europe in Croatia. The park features two deep limestone canyons, Velika and Mala Paklenica, carved by mountain streams. Visitors hike through dramatic gorges, explore Mediterranean vegetation, and enjoy rock climbing on the park's numerous routes.
          Paklenica National Park is situated on the southern slopes of the Velebit mountain range in Dalmatia, Croatia, adjacent to the town of Starigrad-Paklenica on the Adriatic Highway. The park forms part of the broader Velebit Nature Park UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and covers an area of approximately 95 square kilometers, encompassing two primary canyon systems, dense mixed forest, and high karst plateau terrain reaching nearly 1,800 meters above sea level.
