          More to know about Nikia

Nikia is a village on the island of Nisyros in the southeastern Aegean Sea, Greece. Perched on a volcanic crater rim, it offers views of the caldera and traditional Cycladic white-washed architecture. The village features a small folk museum and narrow stone streets. Visitors typically hike around the volcanic landscape, explore local tavernas, and visit nearby hot springs.
Nikia is a small hilltop settlement on Nisyros, a volcanic island in the southern Dodecanese, Greece, situated in the southeastern Aegean Sea. The village sits at approximately 380 metres elevation on the caldera rim, roughly 14 kilometres by road from the main port of Mandraki. Nisyros belongs to the Kos regional unit and is accessible by ferry from Kos and Rhodes. The island's caldera, including the Stefanos crater, is one of the few accessible active volcanic sites in Europe and forms the primary geographic and touristic context for the village.
