          More to know about Lovran

Lovran is a coastal town in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, in northwestern Croatia along the Adriatic Sea. The town features Mediterranean architecture, palm-lined promenades, and historic stone buildings characteristic of the Opatija Riviera. Visitors hike forest trails, swim in the Adriatic, and stroll the scenic waterfront path connecting nearby towns.
Lovran is a small coastal municipality on the western shore of the Kvarner Gulf in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia, situated approximately 6 kilometres south of Opatija and 30 kilometres from the regional capital Rijeka. The town lies at the base of the Ucka mountain range, which rises to 1,401 metres and forms the natural boundary between the Kvarner coast and the Istrian interior. Its strategic position at the junction of the coastal riviera and the alpine hinterland gives it a dual geographic character that distinguishes it from purely coastal resort towns in the region.
